Our Achievements

Our high school was recently recognized as one of the top 50 schools in the United States, and one of the top two in the state of California, by the Catholic High School Honor Roll for “contributing in extraordinary ways to the moral and intellectual formation of young people” today.

The school is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), earning a full-term (6-year) accreditation at the last self-study (March 2001).

Holy Family High School was voted Glendale’s Best Private School for the past seven years: 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005.

It received the Sportsmanship Award from 2003 – 2004 from the California Interscholastic Federation, Southern Section.

Additional awards are received through its faculty members such as the grants from the British Petroleum to fund energy conservation projects by students.

It established the new Science/Health Care Academy, a bridge program between the Holy Family High School and Glendale Community College in partnership with Glendale Memorial Hospital providing juniors and seniors an enriched two-year health science curriculum.

Holy Family is building upon its combined resources and historical accomplishments.  Since opening its doors in 1937 to 21 freshmen, it has provided quality educational programs that prepare young women for productive lives.
